Scholarships

Established in 2021 by NMF Alumna Dr. Felecia Williams in memory of her father, this $10,000 need-based scholarship will award one (1) medical student whose family has either participated in the great migration or is a descendant of enslaved peoples, is first generation to go to college, has demonstrated interest in service to the community, and meets one of the following: 1) born and raised in Detroit, 2) attended an undergraduate school in Michigan, or 3) currently enrolled in a Michigan medical school for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Applications for 2021 are now closed and will reopen in 2022.
