Dr. Darrell L. Edwards Scholarship

Established in 2020 by Millicent Cox-Edwards in memory of her husband Dr. Darrell L. Edwards, this need-based award of $10,000 will be given to one second-year, third-year, or fourth-year African American medical (MD candidate only) student who is either enrolled at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, or from the Bay Area. The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent grade and must demonstrate commitment to providing quality care to underserved, urban communities.

Applications for 2021 are now closed and will not reopen until 2022.
