Discharge teaching between nurses and patients with NELP at BMC involves reviewing the AVS, especially the reason for hospitalization and return precautions, with the aid of a professional interpreter. Strategies to promote review of discharge instructions by patients with NELP after hospitalization are needed, such as making instructions language concordant. Opportunity to provide further training to nurses on how to conduct teach back via interpreter.
