Alumni Listen and Learn Session

Our alumni are so very dear to us and are shining examples of why we do the work that we do. Last year, we began our Listen and Learn series to provide a safe space for our community to check in with and on each other. We had rich and candid discussions where alumni shared the racial traumas they have experienced, as well as their hopes and dreams to make it better for themselves and future health care leaders. The valuable insight from these conversations allowed us to bring their voice into our recently launched strategic framework, ‘Disrupting Racism in Medicine to Achieve Lasting Health Equity‘.

On July 14 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET. we are inviting alumni to attend a Listen and Learn session to see how each of you are doing and share ways in which we can support you! We will use our time together to speak to the many initiatives that are in alignment with the seven pillars of NMF’s strategic framework and to discuss the many ways we can achieve these goals TOGETHER! 🤝
