Generous investment from Aya Locums seeds five $10,000 scholarships.  

National Medical Fellowships (NMF) is partnering with Aya Locums to advance diversity in the medical field. Aya Locums is a leading locum tenens staffing company providing skilled physicians and advanced practice providers at facilities across the U.S.  

Aya Locums’ gift will establish the Aya Locums Future Leaders in Medicine Scholarship at NMF, providing five scholarships, each valued at $10,000, to exceptional students chronically underrepresented in medicine who are pursuing their career dreams in medicine. 

The scholarship will be made available to students enrolled in degree programs to become doctors of medicine and osteopathic medicine (M.D. and D.O.), and graduate level degree programs for nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and physician assistants.  

Aya Locums chose to establish the scholarship at NMF to pay tribute to the company’s dedicated locums and to give back to future health care providers. NMF extends its appreciation to Aya Locums for its partnership and looks forward to witnessing the accomplishments of the scholarship recipients as they pursue their education and go on to make a positive impact in health care.  

Applications will be open from Monday, August 28, 2023 until Sunday, October 23, 2023, at 11:59pm EST.
