Primary Care Leadership Program Scholar Projects

2017 PCLP Scholar Beatriz Marron presents her PCLP Scholar project, “Improving Patient Wait Times at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Chicago, IL Using a Time Flow Study,” conducted with Scholar Omotoke Odimayomi.

The team-based PCLP Scholar project is one of the three key program components. Site Partners work with NMF staff to identify site-specific projects designed to build organizational capacity to improve processes and care delivery. While on site, Scholars work together with community health center (CHC) staff to implement these projects. Scholars submit a formal report, create a project poster, and present the findings and results of their project to key stakeholders at their CHC site. Since 2012, PCLP Scholars have gone on to present their work at conferences and meetings around the US, including:
