Kethelyne Beauvais is a dedicated servant leader in her community. As a two-time recipient of the National Davis Projects for Peace Grant, Kethelyne successfully led and implemented several projects directed towards Haitian youth in Port-au-Prince and Lascahobas, Haiti. During her undergraduate career, she developed a Medical Scribe Program at a local free clinic and served as their Director of Student Volunteers and Scribes for three years, enabling pre-medical undergraduates and high school students to gain early exposure to primary care. Currently, she leads conversations on crime and social justice through the Leadership and Social Justice Group and is an active member of the Student National Medical Association.

Terrence Thompson, currently a first-year medical student, passionately served communities and mentored while in his undergraduate and post-baccalaureate programs. During his undergraduate career, he served as a mentor for X.U. Love and a tutor for Men on the Move. Leadership roles included Logistics coordinator for Peer Dean Planning Committee, President for Xi Sigma chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Terrence continued his commitment to service at Southern Illinois University where he served as a teacher for academically disadvantaged high school students in the Upward Bound Program. He also served one summer as a counselor to the same program.
